  • beautiful 1960s Zenith stereo console--$5
The wood louvers in front of the speakers on both ends open and close. We had to return with the pickup after we were done saleing to pick this up, unfortuneatly by the time we were able to do this it was storming. The sale had closed up earlier (and the sellers didn't live at the sale site), so they set the unit in the side yard and covered it with a tarp (all arranged when we bought it), but unfortuneatly some rain got in under the tarp and caused some damage to the verneer top. A true shame, as this was a beautiful piece in pretty good condition before the rain.

the turntable had been removed, but the radio works well and sounds great. Behind the radio is a well for record storage. This seems to have been a very high-end unit in its day, with connections for adding a tape player and second auxillary piece of equiptment, as well as the ability to add a set of external speakers and an external bass speaker.
