Close-up shots of the button made from a half dollar which I bought last week. The coin was pressed into a fairly shallow dome, although that is not very apparant in the picture of the button front, above. Much more visible in the picture of the back, below, which also shows the cotter pin made into a shank.

Now for some cat pictures. I attempted to take a few portraits without flash, which is the only way I know of to make the cats' eyes appear normal. Here are a few of the better results. No kittens today, they move just too quickly for the slower shutter speeds these pics require.
